The FCA Foundation $5000
LOGHI NAFTATORC’s relationship with The FCA Foundation began when Chrysler employees Eric Schimmel (Mechanical Lead 2013 & Electrical Lead 2015), Chris Reynolds (Team Treasurer), and Susan Fox (Chairman’s mentor asst.)became TORC mentors. The FCA Foundation has been sponsoring TORC with a grant each year since 2012.  In addition to the grant provided to TORC to assist with registration fees and the robot build, The FCA Foundation also provides additional funds when TORC qualifies for the FIRST World Competition. Dassault Systèmes $5000 (software licenses)
In 2015, Dassault Systémes becams a TORC sponsor. They provided TORC with sixty SOLIDWORKS licenses for our students. SOLIDWORKS in a 3D computer-aided design (CAD) software that trains and supports the world’s engineering and design teams. This past summer TORC students began learning to use SOLIDWORKS as we seek to expand the students engineering and design skills. TORC mentor, Jeff Funke facilitated this relationship. Michigan Department of Education  $3000
Logo - MDEThe Michigan Department of Education (MDE) has appropiated funds to support Michigan Public Schools STEM/Robotics programs. MDE awarded grants to TORC in 2014 and 2015.

Faurecia     $2000
faureciaFaurecia sponsored TORC for the first time in 2012 and has renewed its sponosrship for 2015.  They have doubled their support this year. Their sponsorship began when Chris Newby (Faurecia Employee), began mentoring with TORC as a mechanical & fabrication mentor. Read more about Faurecia
Dynamic Robotic Solution (DRS) $1500
drs dynamic robotic solutionsDynamic Robotic Solution (DRS), formerly known as KMT Robotics Solutions, has sponsred TORC since 2011. They have supported TORC financially, with materials and with a banner. In 2015, DRS is not only making a financial donation but they have also painted this year’s robot for TORC. Kawasaki Robotics (USA) $1000

Kawasaki Robotics (USA) sponsored TORC for the first time in 2014. They have increased their donation this year. Max Falcone, a TORC mentor and Kawasaki Robotics (USA) engineer facilitated the relationship between the two partners. InaComp TSG    $1000
ITSG_logo hi-res (2)InaComp TSG sponsored TORC for the first time in 2012 and has renewed it’s sponsorship in 2015. In both seasons, InaComp TSG donated multiple laptops to TORC. The new laptops will replace our aging programming laptops. The donations were facilitated by Oxford Community Schools Deputy Superintendent, Tim Throne and Oxford Middle School FTC team parent, Thomas Matteson. Read more about InaComp TSG.
Oxford Stor-N-Lock  $500
Oxford Stor-n-LockOxford Stor-N-Lock, the Official Storage Solution for TORC,became a sponsor in 2014. JJ Jinkleheimer $500

The relationship with them began when TORC’s sponsorship mentor, Kim Shumaker, approached JJ Jinkleheimer’s inviting them to create team t-shirts and spiritwear for TORC. JJ Jinkleheimer was instrumental in helping TORC takes the first steps in creating our now well recognized team brand. JJ Jinkleheimer graciously donated a large portion of the time spent developing our team brand. In addition, they donate services each year and create our spiritwear flyer. JB Graphics became a TORC sponsor in 2015. JB Graphics provided graphic design at no cost to TORC. The relationship with JB Graphics began in 2014 with then TORC student, James Beaupied. PillarLogo_FinalCMYKPillar Design became a TORC sponsor in 2015. Owned by a parent of a new TORC member, Pillar Design has been a valuable resource for the Chairman’s team. Providing graphic design services and assisting students with the creation of our Chairman’s video, Pillar Design has helped TORC expand it’s skills. In addition, the Recycle RUSH robot sports an eye-catching graphic as well.
ORBIS  $300
Orbis logoORBIS became a sponsor for TORC in 2015. As a creator of stack-and-nest totes like the ones used in this year’s FIRST RECYCLE RUSH game, ORBIS has donated twelve totes.
